1.0 Purpose 
 
 The purpose of this procedure is to define the process of setup, operation, and cleaning of
 
 machine vision cameras. 
 
 2.0 Scope 
 
 This procedure only applies to the machine vision cameras in operation at Ion Nutritional Labs.
 
 3.0 Responsibility 
 
 3,1 It is the responsibility of Maintenance personnel to follow this procedure.
 
 3.2 It is the responsibility of the Maintenance and Engineering Management to implement
 this procedure and to ensure that the procedure is being followed.
 
 3.3. It is the responsibility of Engineering personnel to keep this procedure aligned with
 
 current practices.

 6.0 Procedure 
 
 6.1 Setup 
 
 6.1.1 Connect the camera to power if it is not already. 
 
 6.1.2 Ensure that the camera is secured and that the lens is facing towards the area of
 
 interest.

 6.2 Operation 
 
 6.2.1 Turn on the camera. 
 
 6.2.2 Ensure that the camera controls are accessible via the camera’s corresponding
 control software from a work-approved tablet/computer or integrated HMI screen.
 
 6.2.3 Ensure the camera is offline and load the desired recipe. 
 
 6.2.4 Use the camera feed to make any necessary adjustments to the camera positioning.
 
 6.2.5 Put the camera online and start recording. 
 
 6.3 Cleaning 
 
 6.3.1 Use a lint free cloth to gently wipe off any accumulated dust or debris on the
 camera lens.
